Oak Island was a DREAM wedding venue! From the very first tour, Cody made us feel completely at home and continued to go above and beyond throughout the entire planning process. I had absolutely no plans made, yet Cody connected us with the most wonderful wedding coordinator, Rebecca, who made everything fall into place and turned our vision into a reality. Thanks to Cody, Rebecca, and the entire team at Oak Island, my husband and I were able to plan a wedding in just three months--and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. We are forever grateful to everyone who made our day so special. Oak Island Mansion will always hold a special place in our hearts!

I had an absolutely amazing experience having my wedding at this venue. Cody helped us throughout our entire planning process and answered any questions we had. Cannot thank the Oak Island team enough.We had some rain on our wedding day and the venue does have a beautiful space inside for the ceremony. My husband and I chose to instead just have fun and get married in the rain! The porches provided tons of room for our guests and the inside ballroom was a great dance floor!

Oak Island was the perfect place to have my dream wedding. Cody made our experience even greater with quick and effective communication as well as answering any questions we had. We had a “destination” wedding and wasn’t familiar with the area or vendors around the area. Cody made sure to help in a way that he could and in turn we had the most perfect wedding day. The venue has multiple spots you can have your ceremony. We chose to use the arbor by the lake and it was absolutely beautiful at the end of March. There is also a beautiful swimming pool that was the main selling point for us. It makes a beautiful background for the reception. Overall, we could not be more impressed with the service and communication from Oak Island. The pictures speak for themselves!

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our youngest daughter’s wedding at Oak Island Mansion and I can honestly say that it was nothing short of incredible.With the venue located on its own private island on Lay Lake, the property offered not only breathtaking natural beauty, but classic Southern elegance in a way that made it feel both grand and intimate. The stunning waterfront arbor, tented courtyard and serene lake views created the most picturesque setting for the ceremony and black tie reception. The staff at Oak Island were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive as well, and the vendors from the venue’s preferred list - were all top notch which helped bring our vision to life. Absolutely the Most Perfect Day!!My husband and I were truly blessed by the experience and hospitality at Oak Island Mansion. To have the opportunity to celebrate our wedding with family and friends EXACTLY the way we had imagined, was priceless! We researched and visited countless venues and as soon as we layed eyes on Oak Island and formerly met Cody, we knew we had found THE VENUE for our most memorable day. During the initial planning phase, and leading up to our BIG Day in October, Cody was awesome in every way. He provided all details and answered any questions we asked in a very expeditious manner. We appreciated Cody, thanks so much! The Onsite Coordinator and her team were exceptional and so very helpful as well. They even helped my team transform the ceremony site and reception locations without any flaws.Thankyou you all for the service, attention to detail, and the professionalism!! Oak Island is beautiful and was our home away from home our wedding weekend. We decided to stay on premise for 3 days and enjoyed the beautiful grounds. The Mansion is beautiful inside and out, so you'll find there isnt a need for much decor. We had our wedding here May 13th, 2023, and it was the most magical day! Cody was great to communicate with during our whole experience and always there to answer our questions! We were able to stay in the island the entire weekend so it felt like a wedding weekend not just a wedding day! There are so many beautiful and special spots on the island! It truly was the best day thanks to Oak Island!!

My husband and I got married at Oak Island and it’s one of the best decisions we’ve made. Cody was amazing! He was very accommodating to our needs and requests. He was easy to reach and talk to whenever we had questions. We rented the island for 3 nights to give us time to enjoy the island as well as set up decorations that we wanted for our wedding. The house itself is very beautiful inside and out. It such a unique venue, which made our wedding even more special. Everyone that is part of the Oak Island team was wonderful! They all worked well with us and helped us in any way they can. Thank you for making our day extra special with your hospitality. I definitely recommend this venue to any brides looking for a unique and beautiful venue.

Our Wedding Weekend!!
My husband and I had our wedding at Oak Island on 5/22/21 and it was absolutely perfect. The owners and staff were wonderful and so helpful and Cody was the best during the whole process!! We had the mansion for the whole weekend with our wedding party and it was absolutely stunning!!!!

We had the most beautiful wedding we could have ever hoped for at the most breathtaking venue I've ever seen. You can literally walk down the aisle and say "I Do" without a single flower or decoration and it would still be the most stunning venue available.

Cody, from the moment I first spoke with you, the multiple times we talked, our visits with you, text messages and emails with one another till the end during our follow up phone call together, my experience with you and all of Oak Island Mansion was top notch!

My husband and I worked with Cody the whole time. He was nothing but helpful and considerate of everything. I was so scared I would not be able to afford a place like this. Because it’s beautiful and has so much to offer. But he told me they book to how and what you need! I couldn’t be more happier with our choice and the people we worked with! Oak Island Mansion – A STUNNING venue for a perfect wedding!
The 11,000 square foot southern mansion sits majestically on a six-acre island on Lay Lake. The estate makes for a perfect destination wedding location, right in the heart of Alabama.

We had our daughter’s wedding here. It was beautiful. The folks were amazing. We could not have hoped for a more perfect venue.

I love this venue because there is so many different spots for you to have your ceremony and reception. Your not stuck to having it in one certain place. Also it is so nice to be able to have your ceremony and reception on the same grounds so your guest are not having to get in their cars and drive somewhere else! The staff here is very friendly and willing to do anything for you! I would definitley recommend this venue for anyone out there looking!
